Remarriage [Zerg] – Ch 17

Ch 17: One by one

Author: Da La

“Commander, we haven’t violated any military regulations, so why punish us?”

A military female soldier, his face flushed with sweat, halted from his run, clearly displaying his irritation.

“Why?”

“Because we’re your superiors! And you’re just a soldier!”

Buck rebuked sternly. “If you’re not satisfied, come and fight me!”

The female soldier looked at Buck’s bulging muscles, trembling inwardly, reluctantly backing away.

As soon as Zengla entered, he witnessed Buck’s fiery temper. With a curious expression, he strolled over.

“By the zerg God, who has provoked Lieutenant Buck?”

Buck brushed off the hand resting on his shoulder. “Zengla, they’re standing up for Augustus.”

Hearing this, Zengla couldn’t help but lose his smile.

“These zerg, daring to spread rumors without knowing anything. Stand aside, I’ll go teach them a lesson!”

“Teach who?”

A low, melodious voice, tinged with magnetism.

Zengla stiffened at first, then seemingly remembered something and turned abruptly.

“Wen Ran!”

Wen Ran had already changed into his General uniform, jet black with a collar adorned with platinum buttons, exuding a seductive aura.

Wen Ran looked at his two old friends, finally feeling the true essence of returning to the military.

“Yes, now, I’m your boss.”

Wen Ran calmly twirled his medal in front of the two, then carefully returned it to his pocket.

This is something he’d play with his female.

Zengla and Buck, initially happy for their comrade, felt a strange mix of pride and jealousy from Wen Ran’s subtle display of romance.

Cough, General Wen Ran, weren’t you supposed to be at the third army officers’ Training Camp? Why are you here?”

Wen Ran looked at his joking friend, reaching out to pat his friend’s head.

“Don’t pretend. What were you talking about just now? About teaching?”

Buck and Zengla exchanged a glance, deciding not to say more, laughing it off, but they had to ask Wen Ran why he came.

“Why did I come…”

Wen Ran’s handsome face broke into a friendly smile. “To be a sparring partner!”

His excitement was palpable.

Buck nudged Zengla. “Doesn’t Wen Ran know he looks odd like this?”

Zengla responded in a whisper, “He probably doesn’t.”

“General!”

Wen Ran glanced at the source unexpectedly.

Karl.

“Speak.”

“I request you to be my sparring partner!”

Life as a military female was rarely exciting, so a sparring match was a good form of entertainment.

As soon as the words were spoken, the previously solemn lineup instantly became lively.

Seeing these young recruits, Wen Ran’s deep black eyes sparkled with a hint of starlight, feeling good.

He deftly removed his uniform jacket, unbuttoned his cuffs, rolled up his sleeves to his wrists, revealing his smooth, muscular arms, which looked both aesthetically pleasing and powerful, causing some female soldiers to secretly swallow their saliva.

But no matter how they sniffed, they couldn’t catch the scent of the male-specific pheromone from him, only then remembering that this gentleman had a very low rank.

Wen Ran led Karl to the spot where they had fought before, turning around to start attacking.

Punching, kicking, hooking, just a few simple moves, yet containing immense power.

Karl couldn’t withstand it, but this time he didn’t fall. He gritted his teeth, feeling his numbed arm, intending to counterattack.

But Wen Ran, was unexpectedly stronger than a military female, blocked Karl’s attack with a turn, then swiftly kicked his shoulder with his straight and slender leg, landing fast and hard.

At that moment, the entire place sucked in a breath, the sound of bones breaking unusually crisp.

Wen Ran looked at the military female kneeling before him, feeling a sense of appreciation.

He withdrew his foot, bent down, gently patted Karl.

“Keep working hard.”

Then, Wen Ran solemnly looked at the new recruits standing three feet away from him. “One by one.”

After that, he saw some worry on the faces of these new recruits.

Underneath his stern face, Wen Ran lamented their enthusiasm for this generation of new recruits.

And then, out of kindness, he added.

“Don’t worry, every zerg has a chance.”

So, that afternoon, the new recruits learned how harsh world could be.

Wen Ran looked at the fallen military females before him, still frowning slightly. “Training needs to be intensified.”

Well, now that they’re lying on the ground, they’re not crying anymore, just groaning.

Buck and Zengla looked at the scene with pale faces, not laughing, but expressing sympathy.

Because they suffered too, they didn’t laugh.

“General Wen Ran, you just wait for Dr. Luo Wen to come and beat you up!”

“Hurry up and help them to the infirmary. It’ll be fine if it’s a little later!”

The author has something to say:

Here I come, here I come, here I come (raising head and chest), this time I’m a bit earlier, hehehe.
