Ch 2: In the early Morning
Author: Da La
The Zerg races efficiency in handling matters was extremely high. Within three days, the wealthiest man in the empire, Alles Ning, quietly married an ordinary and insignificant male insect.
[Alles Ning, the wealthiest man in the capital. Like a white rose nurtured by money, he stood proudly amidst the decay and filth of the muddy ground. Soft silver light scattered, casting a faint gentle glow on the white rose. Countless covetous gazes surrounded him, yet they feared the sharp thorns and dared not approach…]
Wen Ran looked down at Alles Ning, reminiscing. The reddened corners of his eyes made this insect appear particularly obedient and fragile when asleep, as if he should stay in his own little place and not be touched by others, curled up and pitiful.
But on the other hand, this male was also quite proactive. After all, wasn’t it he who wanted to be his female monarch?
In Wen Ran’s deep black eyes, there were flickers of light, as if the gentleness had been shattered, leaving only specks of starlight hidden within them.
The system here could be described as abnormal. Male zergs indulged in eating, drinking, and revelry, with weak bodies, yet they occupied the top of society solely because of their reproductive abilities. Female zergs, on the other hand, bore all the burdens of society but only received the status of slaves. To be honest, it was quite uncomfortable coming to this world for the first time.
But having a companion by one’s side still felt good.
Wen Ran didn’t understand love, but he knew how to respect his partner. He got up to prepare breakfast for his freshly baked companion.
Carrying the breakfast into the room, Wen Ran didn’t see the zerg who blushed and cried last night. He looked around and finally fixed his gaze on a spot.
But the posture of that zerg made him raise an eyebrow.
Alles, no, he could call him Ning now, since they’re partners.
Ning knelt naked at the foot of the bed, the dim light rendering his silver-white hair somewhat grayish-black. It was long, reaching his thin ankles when he knelt down. It would have added to his beauty, but under the sickly pallor of the female insect’s face, it resembled a dark cloud, weighing heavily, about to crush the thin and weak spine of the female insect.
Wen Ran put down the tray and walked to the female, ignoring his trembling body as he approached. He bent down, one hand holding his arm and the other embracing his pale and sickly waist, gently pulling his companion into his arms.
“Hmm, cold.”
“Why aren’t you in bed?” His voice seemed deliberately softened, faint but audible enough for Ning to hear.
Ning seemed to freeze for a moment, showing none of the determination and madness he had when he forcibly took this male in the beginning.
Then he immediately reacted, struggling to escape from the warm embrace.
“Without the male master’s consent, entangling the male master, asking the male master for punishment.”
Wen Ran tightened his embrace, refusing to let the female zerg escape.
He gently stroked the female zergs thin skin, pale, not the rosy white, but the white of prolonged illness.
He lifted his other hand, covering the eyes that hid too many emotions. The female in his arms suddenly stopped moving.
Satisfied, Wen Ran leaned closer, his warm breath spraying on Ning‘s red ear, “Without my consent, entanglement? Show me?”
Although Wen Ran had figured out how to use pheromones during last night’s encounters, he deliberately held back now, keeping Ning alert.
Ning had never been treated like this by a male zerg before, even the previous male master, Augustus, would only whip him at will and then drive him away, leaving him alone to kneel on the cold floor and reflect…
Ning uncomfortably shrank his body, but in doing so, he pressed against Wan Ran’s abdomen. His face stiffened, his mind, usually adept at maneuvering in the business world, seemed inadequate at this moment.
Wen Ran looked at his trousers soaked with warmth and paused for a moment, then chuckled. Ignoring the female zergs flushed face, he lifted Ning up with a slight exertion of his arm.
“If you don’t want to, just stay in bed.”
A simple sentence, but it made Ning’s numb heart skip a beat. However, he quickly figured it out.
It was just another trick by a male to deceive him. Soon, the intense redness turned into desolate whiteness again. Did he have the face of a fool? All these zergs deceived him.
But, wasn’t he a businessman who wouldn’t miss any opportunity? Since it could make him feel a little better, why not? He raised a smile and gently placed his hand on the male zerg’s exposed neck.
So, Wen Ran, carrying him to bed, saw Ning once again, showing the initial flattery and effort to please.
Wen Ran frowned. He didn’t like this side of Ning.
Last night, when he wanted to enter, despite the guidance of pheromones, Ning trembled several times, uncharacteristically awkward.
He frowned, “Stop smiling, I’ll take you to bathe.”
Ning’s smile froze. He couldn’t understand the connection between the two and didn’t understand why a male zerg would bathe a female zerg.
Aren’t they just toys?
The warm water flowed over his body, but it didn’t flow into his heart because doubts couldn’t solve any problems.
Wen Ran placed the female zerg in the soft bedding, and he could tell that Ning’s body was different from other females’, so he should rest well.
As for breakfast, Wen Ran looked at the already cold bowl and thought there was plenty of time ahead.

Ning sat at the desk, tapping the surface with his slender and delicate fingertips.
The pale complexion from before, under the male zerg’s irrigation last night, showed a faint blush, which made the originally cold and beautiful female appear a bit more fiery, as if it would be easier to control him and make him his own possession.
Ning furrowed his perfectly matching brows, not understanding anything this male did. His gentleness was like poison wrapped in honey, initially refreshing but ultimately painful.
Ning didn’t believe it. He had just escaped from a tragedy; how could he be foolish enough to repeat it?
A hint of indifference crossed his lips. It was just a game, not to be taken seriously.
A knock at the door interrupted him, and Ning quickly withdrew from his emotions. The deep blue eyes were filled with misty gray, like a rose with thorns, beautiful yet dangerous.
“Come in.”
As soon as the voice fell, the door lock was turned, and a middle-aged female zerg entered.
“President, the contract just negotiated with Ediman Company has been interrupted halfway!”
Upon hearing this, Ning’s heart sank. After this incident, the company must not have any more problems.
He stood up immediately, “Contact Lord Dale, tell him I want to invite him to dinner.”
“But, you are already married, and although there is no clear rule, having dinner alone with a male zerg…” The assistant didn’t finish his sentence, but it made Ning feel suffocated.
Letting him come out to work was already the male zerg’s maximum tolerance limit. If he was alone with another male…
Ning didn’t dare to think about the consequences, but he wanted to see how much patience his male master had towards him.
“Don’t worry about it, help me make the appointment.”
“But… President, Lord Dale has already sent an invitation letter.” As the assistant said this, Ning felt a glimmer of hope, but he quickly lost his smile when he saw the assistant’s hesitant appearance.
“What else?” The chill in his voice was penetrating.
“The location is… at the Colosseum.”
After hearing this, Ning felt like a bucket of cold water was poured over him.
The Colosseum, a decadent place comparable to the female slave trading market. It was a cage for female zerg driven crazy by mental powers, yet it was a paradise for males with peculiar sexual preferences. Due to mental breakdowns, the female zergs with countless scars in their minds were forced to fight in the colosseum, using the battles between flesh and blood to win the favor of male zerg. Absurd and ridiculous, but one was willing to fight and the other was willing to suffer.
Ning didn’t know what conspiracy Dale had in bringing him there, but he had no choice but to go. The face of the male zerg flashed in his mind, cold yet gentle, but it only lasted for a moment.
Ning took the lead out of the office, casually saying, “Let’s go.”
The assistant was very anxious. He hurriedly opened his light brain and sent a message to Ning’s steward, then immediately followed.
In front of the company, a luxurious private aircraft was parked steadily, and Ning’s azure eyes narrowed slightly.
But soon, a smile that Wen Ran was very familiar with appeared on his face, hypocritical but warm.
Ning approached slightly, as if the insect in the aircraft was waiting for him. When he approached, the porthole opened.
Dale was a typical male who relied on female zerg. His female partner was also well-known in the business circle. As for this company, it was also founded by his female partner, while this nominal president was causing trouble in the company.
“Mr. Alles, let’s go.” The fat on Dale’s face squeezed his eyes, which were as greedy as green beans, into a thin slit, like a goblin, greedy and foolish.
Ning held back the urge to vomit and straightened his thin spine, stepping onto the aircraft.
At the same time, Wen Ran, who was watering flowers at home, received a message on his light brain.
It was sent by Ning’s steward, and he leisurely opened it.
The pitch-black eyes turned into an abyss that could swallow everything in the next moment, surging with dark waves.
He hurried to the aircraft, “Destination: Colosseum,” his voice icy and chilling.
