Remarriage [Zerg] – Ch 3

Ch3: The Colosseum

Author: Da La

The Colosseum, to put it nicely, serves as a source of solace for ‘broken’ female zerg. However, in the Imperial Capital, it’s a place where only strength and money matter, regardless of status. It could be a graveyard or a pleasure den.

Walking towards the central area of the Colosseum, Ning and Dale each carried a fluorescent strip, their tickets for entry.

“Mr. Alles, you’re familiar with the rules of the Colosseum, aren’t you? This is a paradise for redeeming females and a place where noble male zerg show their generosity.”

They walked slowly, the echoing sound of their footsteps in the dimly lit corridor heightened the oppressive atmosphere. Ning’s assistant followed behind, his heart pounding wildly. Looking at Ning, his blue eyes were already darkened, lips pursed, lost in thought.

“You’re right, sir,” he replied. He understood the vanity of these male zerg all too well and saw no point in arguing, as it would be futile.

As they approached, the light at the entrance grew brighter, accompanied by escalating screams and shouts. Evolved from the animal kingdom, though their brains had undergone extreme evolution, the martial spirit still ran deep in the veins of this species, growing fiercer by the day.

Finally, they reached the VIP section. Thick glass encased it, allowing noble males to enjoy a close-up view of the excitement. As they arrived, two female zerg were already in the arena.

On the circular fighting platform, two panting zerg stood on opposite sides. The heavy panting indicated their physical and mental exhaustion, but the match continued. With the referee’s signal, the frenzied audience outside urged them on. The two females seemed unable to bear it any longer, emitting beastly roars, their upper bodies muscles bulging, fists flying, quickly entangling.

Ning watched the spectacle coldly. While the audience cheered outside, the females inside had to risk their lives to entertain them, satisfying their clandestine desires.

Dale, however, watched with enthusiasm. Upon noticing Ning’s expression, he smirked maliciously.

“Isn’t it interesting, Mr. Alles? I recall your spiritual sea is almost at its limit, and your former male master refused to mark you. Yet, instead of actively pleasing your esteemed male master, you even took our noble Lord Augustus to court over such trivial matters, forcing him to divorce you. But now, can the one you found satisfy you?”

Ning anxiously fiddled with his cufflinks. He hadn’t expected this male to be so foolish, openly provoking him. He had forgotten his own worthless body.

“You needn’t trouble yourself, sir. Why not take a look below and see if there’s anyone to your liking? Someone to take home.”

Ning raised his hand to pour tea for Dale, a faint smile playing on his fair face, appearing elegant yet alluring.

Dale looked at those slender and delicate hands, softer than the average female’s but with a sense of strength greater than a male’s. He couldn’t help but reach out, but the hand was withdrawn the next moment.

Suddenly realizing what he was here for, Dale’s face paled. He seemed to feel embarrassed and slapped the female zerg next to him, who was frail and weak, unable to withstand it, and knelt down, trembling, begging for forgiveness.

“Dale, why are you so angry?” A gentle voice came from behind the curtain. Ning glanced casually, but his heart sank the next moment.

“Dale, what do you mean by this?” Ning smiled at the figure emerging from behind the curtain.

Augustus was momentarily pleased by his smile, forgetting that Ning was a slick businessman.

“Ning, I’ve missed you these days. You were once mine, but now you belong to another female master, which pains me deeply.” His intimate words emphasized ‘female master’ heavily.

Ning felt a surge of nausea in his heart, sneering inwardly at how he could have been fooled by this hypocritical male.

“Lord Augustus, please mind your words. After all, there’s a difference between male and female.” His smile was perfect, but Augustus’s affection seemed worthless in his eyes.

Unable to bear it any longer, Augustus raised his hand to gesture. Dale and his female immediately left, and Ning’s assistant was also kept outside the box. For a moment, only Ning and Augustus were left in the cramped box.

Ning subtly stepped back, ensuring a safe distance from Augustus before turning his gaze back to the zerg.

“Ning, is that male treating you well? Your pale complexion must be his doing!”

Looking at the male zerg in front of him, Ning raised an eyebrow unexpectedly. Had he taken the wrong medicine?

Had he forgotten the punishments and insults inflicted on him?

“Sir, please restrain yourself.” Polite yet distant, he maintained utmost courtesy.

Not knowing which nerve his words had touched, the male’s face turned completely cold, his pheromones flooding out relentlessly until the space was filled with his male pheromones.

But Ning had already been marked by Wen Ran. Any other zerg’s pheromones would only churn his stomach, making him feel nauseous.

Augustus watched Ning sway, a triumphant smile creeping onto his face. His A-grade pheromones were something no other female could resist.

But Ning felt as though his brain had been impaled by a sharp iron rod, being stirred vigorously.

Pain. Excruciating pain.

The two females in the arena were already bleeding, the strong smell of blood further exciting the audience, their sharp cries penetrating Ning’s tattered mind.

He staggered and finally knelt down, his pristine white suit trousers stained with dust.

Augustus hurried forward, desire evident in his eyes. Only now did he realize Ning was irreplaceable.

His slightly chubby hand slowly approached that silvery-white hair, Augustus greedily swallowing saliva, like a hungry wolf finally getting its long-awaited meal, eager to devour it.

But in the next moment, he was suddenly flipped over, a huge force pounding on his stomach, the agonizing pain rushing in, causing him to curl up like a defeated wild boar.

Ning hadn’t yet recovered when a warm, clean air swept him away, followed by Wen Ran’s warm embrace.

Ning blinked in confusion. “Male master?”

His tone carried a hint of uncertainty, mixed with a trace of joy.

Panic spread through his heart, but after careful observation, you could glimpse a faint trace of joy after peeling away the layers.

Wen Ran frowned, releasing his pheromones in an attempt to drive away the strange male’s scent. He looked indifferently at the male on the ground, a hint of a smile playing at the corner of his mouth, but his dark eyes churned with waves.

“If you desire a female, then take one.” With that, a transparent rod easily pierced through the thick glass, and suddenly, the pheromones of the zerg squeezed out by Wen Ran rushed out eagerly, filling the entire space.

The entire arena fell silent, with tens of thousands of females glancing around. Finally, their gazes settled on the box where Wen Ran was.

Wen Ran tightened his hold on the female in his arms, but paid no attention to Ning’s flushed cheeks and heavy breathing.

He quickly stepped out, the assistant outside the door anxiously waiting. Seeing Wen Ran come out with the president in his arms, he rejoiced.

“Lord Wen Ran! The president, he…”

Wen Ran gestured for him to be quiet, and quickly walked out. Ning, dazed, found himself back in the eerie, dimly lit corridor. He was still afraid, but the embrace of the male was so warm that he didn’t feel as frightened.

Wen Ran watched as the female zerg snuggled into his arms, feeling the inexplicable anger dissipate, replaced by a tenderness he hadn’t realized before.”
