Remarriage [Zerg] – Ch 4

Ch.4: Warmth

Author: Da La

In a dimly lit bedroom, two hearts beat rapidly. Ning felt as though he was immersed in a warm current that eroded his sanity. With each breath, there seemed to be pheromones enchanting his heart.

Wen Ran gently put Ning down, wrapping his arms tightly around the slender waist of the white-haired female zerg. Taking a step forward, he pressed Ning against the door panel.

“In the future, when you encounter such situations, come to me, okay?”

“After all, you are my female monarch…”

A faint sigh echoed by Ning’s ears, shaking his soul. At this moment, he had shed his smooth and calm demeanor from back at the Colosseum. His azure eyes, hiding countless thoughts, shimmered in the dim light. Their breaths mingled, causing the temperature around them to rise sharply, like a red-hot iron branding them repeatedly.

Yet Ning seemed to be crazily addicted to this burning sensation.

Subconsciously, he reached out and touched Wen Ran’s sturdy chest, his mind unable to form coherent thoughts.

“Why…” His voice was trembling, though cold.

Suddenly, an inexplicable feeling surged within Wen Ran, one he had never experienced before – tenderness. Now he realized, Ning was his female monarch, his true companion to walk through life with.

He had given Ning autonomy, but he hadn’t told this trembling female zerg that he could come to him when he needed help.

In such a twisted system and environment, female zergs had long grown accustomed to enduring and obeying, seemingly not fighting for themselves, but merely flattering and pleasing others. They treated glass shards as pearls, regarding them as treasures despite being covered in scars, still considering them invaluable…

Bowing his head, Wen Ran kissed the eager female, showering him with gentle and affectionate kisses.

“Perhaps… my female monarch is incredibly beautiful…” His deep voice sounded in Ning’s ear, and under the influence of pheromones, Ning subconsciously complied.

Ning’s lips were captured, gently and coolly, sending shivers down his spine…

The room’s curtains were drawn, the air thick with tension, making this night exceptionally hot. Wen Ran slowly turned Ning around, who couldn’t bear the friction anymore. He forced his eyes open, relying on the robust night vision of the Zerg species, seeing a pair of black eyes.

Like valuable black diamonds, understated yet luxurious…

“You think so?”

Wen Ran seemed to be asking casually, but then he exerted more force, pushing Ning’s eyebrows upward, causing a refreshing ripple to emerge, engulfing them both in an endless deep sea.

Ning lay dumbfounded on the bed, white hair disheveled, with traces of redness still visible at the corners of his eyes. He looked to one side, but there was no one.

Then he turned to the other side, finding a bowl of porridge and a few light dishes, warm as if they were deliberately sent for him upon waking up.

He truly didn’t understand why the male zerg treated him like this.

Rescuing him from the Colosseum, not only did he not punish Ning for being alone with other males, but he also…

Subconsciously, Ning touched his abdomen, which was bulging. Because it was still hot inside him, he felt anxious.

Just as Ning touched his abdomen, the door clicked open.

Seeing this scene, Wen Ran felt a strange sense of satisfaction. Could it be that females could get pregnant?

He tried to tread lightly, recalling the discreet mention of Ning’s physical condition by his steward during their recent conversation. He tucked Ning’s cold hands outside the covers.

Only then did Ning react, “Master…” He wanted to get up and kneel down but was pressed back by Wen Ran the next moment.

“Just lie down. Your assistant is managing things at the company. Rest at home today.”

Wen Ran’s cool voice carried a gentle tone, but Ning felt as if he were in an ice cave.

Not allowed to go to the company?

Wen Ran didn’t see Ning’s pale face, reaching for the porridge on the bedside. However, when he turned back, he saw Ning’s already pale face now as white as paper, his slender shoulders still trembling.

Ning felt he couldn’t bear such punishment. The good feelings he had just developed towards the male shattered instantly. He clenched his jaw, trying hard not to make a sound, but the bitterness in his heart turned into tears, silently sliding down his face.

Since when did he become so prone to tears?

He thought he had long lost hope in this world, having forged a hard mask amid the swirling mix of zergs, but what he had prided himself on crumbled at the face of reality…

Wen Ran watched the emotionally overwhelmed female before him, letting out a barely perceptible sigh.

Crybaby.

He set the porridge aside, gently embracing Ning, “Can’t you rest for a day? It’s not like I spend a lot of money.”

With a humorous tone, his words flowed into Ning’s ears with the light taps on his back.

Then, a question mark slowly emerged above Ning’s head: ?

Rest for a day?

Wen Ran chuckled as he looked at the white-haired female, reaching out to rub his hair. “Don’t worry, no one can restrict you.”

Though he was just a male zerg whose rank hadn’t even been determined, his gentle tone combined with a domineering demeanor inexplicably brought comfort…

Only now did Ning realize his foolishness. He hastily sat up from the male zerg’s embrace, his face suddenly flushed.

“Please, Master, punish me!” But before he could finish, his mouth was sealed.

Ning’s eyes widened. This was the first time they had been so intimate while he was awake.

Wen Ran gazed at the inexperienced female before him, a hint of amusement in his eyes, and then licked his lips before releasing Ning’s mouth.

“Your body is weak. That thing is beneficial to you. Keep it.”

With a teasing tone, Wen Ran’s words turned Ning into a beetroot, and the calculating look in his eyes disappeared, replaced by an unknown evasion.
