Remarriage [Zerg] – Ch 6

Ch 6: Buying Some Medicine

Author: Da La

In the aircraft, Wen Ran looked at Ning, who was kneeling on the ground, with a hint of helplessness.

Ning’s white suit perfectly outlined his slender waist, while his long and straight legs were wrapped in pristine white trousers. His snowy long hair stood up, with a few strands hanging by his temples, giving the imposing and aloof beauty a touch of fragility.

Bending slightly, Wen Ran inserted his hands under Ning’s armpits and effortlessly lifted him up, seating him beside himself.

Ning seemed surprised. He found himself being lifted up like a fledgling by Wen Ran, and couldn’t help but purse his lips, silently reproaching himself.

Wen Ran reached out to shake Ning in front of him. “Mr. President, it’s time to go to work,” he said, his voice tinged with teasing.

Ning’s cool blue eyes glanced at Wen Ran for a moment, carrying a subtle reprimand.

Wen Ran paused briefly, then smiled. His female monarch was so adorable.

Listening to Wen Ran’s voice, Ning’s face blushed slightly. His fair and slender hand slowly brushed over the dark, shiny cuff of his sleeve, tapping it lightly to steady himself.

Before long, the aircraft landed in front of Ning’s company.

As Ning turned to say goodbye, he saw Wen Ran jumping out of the aircraft first. He hurriedly followed, fearing that something might happen to him.

Unexpectedly, he found a familiar hand in front of him, bathed in a golden glow. It was a hand he knew well.

“Come, hold my hand,” Wen Ran said, his black eyes gentle as water. It was hard to imagine such a humble and polite creature being a male zerg.

Ning, taking Wen Ran’s hand, stepped out of the aircraft. “Thank you, Lord,” he said softly.

“It’s nothing. There’s no need for thanks between us,” Wen Ran replied.

Ning realized that Wen Ran probably didn’t know how gentle his actions were. He looked up at Wen Ran, with a hint of unnoticed reluctance in his eyes.

He cherished the scent of the male zerg. Even kneeling in the aircraft, he just wanted to be closer to him. He didn’t know why he felt this way, perhaps it was because of what the male zerg said yesterday afternoon.

After all, the feeling of being valued can be addictive, right?

“Mr. President, you’re here.” Ning’s assistant came forward to greet him, oblivious to their exchange.

Wen Ran, seeing him, knew he was Ning’s assistant and didn’t want to intrude. He leaned slightly, and his dark hair fell inadvertently. His voice was low and pleasant. “Then, see you after work?”

Ning pretended to be calm and nodded gently.

Ignoring the potential repercussions of escorting his female monarch to work, Wen Ran then went straight to the aircraft.

Ning looked up at the aircraft, lost in thought for a long time.

Wen Ran wasn’t in a hurry to go home. He opened Ning’s steward’s communicator page and clicked “Call”.

Perhaps the afternoon was quite leisurely, as the other side answered quickly.

The steward seemed puzzled to see Wen Ran’s handsome face on the screen.

Wen Ran was courteous, nodding slightly to the zerg before getting straight to the point.

“Please tell me about Ning’s specific condition.”

The steward hesitated. He didn’t know the male zerg’s intentions, but he couldn’t refuse.

Wen Ran looked at the documents transmitted by the communicator, and the few still-unhealed scars on Ning’s beautiful, half-covered body stood out prominently in his mind.

He should buy him some medicine and take better care of him.

Speaking of care, Wen Ran couldn’t help but fall into silence. He felt like he was being taken care of by his female monarch now.

So, Wen Ran, the high-ranking military officer in his previous life, the only bloodline of an ancient noble family, fell into a mysterious silence. If his father knew, he would definitely break his legs.

This silence continued until the aircraft stopped at the pharmacy, and Wen Ran’s current demeanor was notably low.

On such a sunny afternoon, the planet’s sky was filled with incredibly romantic fiery clouds, spreading endlessly like entwining lovers’ heartstrings.

Wen Ran carried a large bag of medicine and was about to step into the aircraft.

Then he saw a group of zergs marching down the street, their eyes squinting as they watched. There was a male and many female zergs.

He turned his head back, comforting himself that it was normal.

“Your Excellency! I have a male now, please restrain yourself!” A clear and slightly anxious voice reached Wen Ran’s ears.

Wen Ran merely paused for a moment, always respecting others’ choices.

“Well, what does it matter? General Lyle, your male zerg is only a B-level. Can’t I make you more comfortable than him?”

The male insect, surrounded by female insects, stared at Lyle’s slender figure with eyes as big as soybeans, its green pupils emitting a nauseating greenish light.

Wen Ran closed his eyes; he always believed in ‘out of sight, out of mind.’

“Lord Sabe, you can’t do this!” Lyle, being pulled by those female insects, spoke with a trembling and choked voice.

Wen Ran sighed; he never liked to meddle in others’ affairs.

Despair filled Lyle’s pale face as he helplessly closed his eyes, but in the next moment, he heard a scream.

Wen Ran withdrew his fist, his foot planted on the shoulder of that male insect.

But Wen Ran believed this was not just a trivial matter.
